One of our colleagues attended the 49th meeting of the Society for Invertebrate Pathology and the International Congress on Invertebrate Pathology and Microbial Control which was held 24 to 28 July, 2016, in Tours, France. Representatives from over 40 countries were in attendance.
Major topics included Honeybee Health, Entomopathogenic Fungi, Insects for Food and Feed, and Regulatory Affairs. The entomological perspective on biocontrol products was dominant, but other biocontrol research was covered during special sessions.
Following the conference were meetings with our distribution partners at Andermatt Biocontrol in Grossdietwil, Switzerland.
