Conference on silicon in agriculture

The conference, which took place in November 2008 at the Wild Coast Sun, attracted 120 top international scientists and agronomists, who presented their research results on a wide range of crops.
AgriSil K50, manufactured by PQ Corporation and marketed by Plant Health Products, was used in the field trials. It is a soluble silica liquid fortified with potassium.
